I could not believe the price I paid for this, about $20, and now it's even cheaper($15.99). The mp3 files are compact on this 3 disk volume. I conduct Nursing Home Services and wanted this for use there. I copied the entire set on a dvd-rw (4.7g capacity) and the entire NKJV can be heard on the newer dvd players -- my older dvd player could only load from that single dvd about 370 of the 1189 chapters, 989M, but all the files can be copied onto a laptop hd, or any modern digital music player -- for computers using Windows Media Player you can play all 85 hours of the Bible where ever you can take your device. There is excellent dramatization (sound-only), background music and the main narrator, Steven Johnson are all very enjoyable to hear as you listen, but even others read when a quotation is made-- making plot-stories like Jonah a radio drama! Not a better deal on the net! ---- Reading and hearing the Bible every day is a guaranteed promise of God-defined prosperity and success for those who read -- see Josh 1.8 and Psalm 1! And this version is trustworthy by many biblical scholars. |
