I personally liked the book. If you’re a person who doesn’t like suspense then you wouldn’t like this book very much. After the first two chapters I learned quite a lot about World War 2. The characters backgrounds were explained very well. Halfway through the book I had learned about the seriousness of escaping from the prison camp. After I finished the book I learned about all the obstacles they faced. The book didn’t really inspire me. Maybe to break out of a prison camp if I get put into that position. Since the book is a true story I was informed of a little history. It didn’t make me want to try a new activity. Really the only thing they did was tunnel. The book and my life are kind of the same. The leadership required is one of the characteristics that relate to my life. Also is strength and endurance. The book relates to the world due to the fact that it actually happened. This book also relates to a book I have read. The book it relates to is called The Cask of Amontillado. Both stories are very suspenseful. My book relates to almost any genre. The most important part of the book is the escape. The second most important part is the obstacles. The obstacles caused the book to stay very suspenseful. An important part of the book I would say people miss is about the Nazi’s. The fact that not all Nazi’s were bad is that part. Some people were forced to become one. The bad ones gave the good ones a bad name. People who really don’t like suspense as I said before shouldn’t read this book. Those who do should read it. That is my 4 star rating I hope you decide to read this book after you read this paper. |
