Jim Caviezel as Jesus and Co-Producer - In 1998, Jim Caviezel received critical acclaim for his role as idealist Private Witt in Terrence Malick's The Thin Red Line. The following year, he gained further recognition with roles in Ride With the Devil (1999), Frequency (2000) and Pay It Forward (2000). In 2001, his role as Jennifer Lopez's love interest in Angel Eyes helped to establish him as a versatile actor and leading man. In 2002 he starred in High Crimes with Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman. That same year, he portrayed the title role in The Count of Monte Cristo and in 2004 he was chosen by Mel Gibson to star as Jesus in The Passion of the Christ, one of the highest grossing films of all time, putting Jim Caviezel on Hollywood's A-list. Caviezel starred in Bobby Jones - Stroke of Genius (2004) and in the inspirational true story Madison (2005).
