P.G. Wodehouse
P.G. Wodehouse (1881-1975) was born in Guilford, England. He wrote over 90 books, and his work won world-wide acclaim and was translated into many languages. He also was part author and writer of the lyrics of eighteen musical comedies, including Kissing Time. The Times hailed him as "a comic genius in his lifetime ... and an old master of farce." He was made a Knight of the British Empire in the New Year's Honor List in 1975, a short time before he died. --Audio Partners
