About the Author: NEENAH ELLIS is an independent producer and writer, and the winner of three prestigious Peabody awards for Excellence in broadcasting. Ms. Ellis has spent 25 years making documentaries on a variety of subjects in the United States and abroad. She is a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, with a degree in journalism.
