About the Author: Mike Lee is a first-term U.S. senator from Utah who sits on the Joint Economic Committee and the Foreign Relations Committee. A graduate of Brigham Young University law school, he served as a law clerk to then–future Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr., on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mike lives with his wife and their three children in Alpine, Utah.
