In this special live presentation John Bradshaw revisits concepts first presented in Bradshaw On The Family. Now using the most recent family research and recovery materials he looks at THE FUTURE OF THE FAMILY, exploring the individual in both a family and societal setting. He focuses on how family rules and attitudes become encoded within each family member and then acted out within the family and society as a whole. Recognizing the cyberspacial age in which families exist today, Bradshaw shares his belief that hope for the future of traditional family life is rooted in the emergence of what he calls "deep democracy"—the interrelating of families that honor each member's uniqueness as a human being.

Extending this idea to a global family, Bradshaw shows how healing the emotional wounds of the family can affect and heal the world in which we live.
