In 1968 Daniel Massey created the role of George Novak in Hal Prince's production of the Bock and Harnick musical She Loves Me on Broadway. Most notable of his many film roles is his portrayal of Noel Coward in Star, for which he received the Golden Globe Award in 1968 for Best Supporting Actor. His other roles include Daniel Mass Macduff in Macbeth, John Worthing in Wilde's Importance of Being Earnest, and Jack Tanner in Man and Superman, the last of which won him the SWET Award for actor of the year 1981. |
