On June 4, 2004, APA and the Audiobook Foundation hosted the premier event in the audio publishing industry--The Ninth Annual AudiesŪ--to honor excellence in audiobooks. The AudiesŪ are the only completely juried awards covering audiobooks and spoken word entertainment
The judges were responsible for reviewing 525 audiobooks submitted for consideration. All titles submitted were released between November 1, 2002 and October 31, 2003.
Following
are the audiobook winners for the year 2004. Many of these winners are
offered in CASSETTE, COMPACT DISC formats and some also on MP3 CD.
