About the Author: Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson has written more than a dozen books. He had a lengthy career as a Freudian scholar and psychoanalyst before he turned his attention to animals in the 1990s. He lived in Berkeley, California, for many years, and recently moved to New Zealand with his wife and two sons.

About the Narrator: Tim Jerome has built a remarkable career as a stage, film, and audio performer. He has had roles in the films Everyone Says I Love You, Billy Bathgate, and Husband's and Wives, to name a few. He is the founder and president of the New York based National Music Theater Network.
