Poison-pen letters cause two deaths in Lymston. Can Miss Marple uncover the killer before there is another?

The setting is a quiet English village with more than its share of shameful secrets, presenting Miss Marple with mysteries within a mystery. While the first person narrator, Jerry Burton, is convalescing, he receives anonymous hate mail. And another person who receives a poison pen letter takes it so seriously that she kills herself. The coroner rules her death a suicide, but Miss Marple questions his verdict. Was it the work of a poison pen or of a poisoner? As usual, Christie keeps her listeners guessing.
