Miracle on 34th Street was broadcast on the Lux Radio Theatre December 20, 1948. It stars Edmund Gwenn as Chris Kringle, Maureen O'Hara as Doris, John Payne as Fred, Joseph Kearns as Sawyer, Wilard Waterman as Macy and Marlene Ames as Susan. A Lux Radio Theatre radio adaptation of the 1947 20th Century Fox film that put Kris Kringle on trial in New York City to prove that he is indeed the real Santa Claus. The program was sponsored by Lux Toilet Soap on CBS.
