About the Author: Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881-1975) was born in England. After working for a bank for two years, he turned to journalism and story writing. Known to his friends as "Plum", he moved to the United States after World War II and became a citizen. In all, he wrote more than ninety books, and his work has won worldwide acclaim.

About the Performer: FREDERICK DAVIDSON (1932-2005) was born in London, trained at. the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and performed in BBC radio plays before coming to America in 1976.
