Written by P.G. Wodehouse - Audio book performed by Frederick Davidson - Unabridged Fiction - 6 CASSETTES

Publisher, Blackstone Audiobooks (August 1997)

It is a complex case for the Wooster intellect. Gussie Fink-Nottle (he of the newt-spotting disposition) falls in love with Madeline (the-stars-are-God's-daisy-chain) Bassett and has lost his chump. Cousin Angela falls out of love with Tuppy Glossop and gives a passable imitation of a woman scorned. Aunt Dahlia is in a stew over the acckers and, worst of all, Jeeves has passed sentence of death on Bertie's tout ce qu'il est chic white mess jacket.

About the Author: Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881-1975) was born in England. After working for a bank for two years, he turned to journalism and story writing. He moved to the United States after World War II and became a citizen. In all, he wrote more than ninety books, and his work has won worldwide acclaim.

About the Performer: FREDERICK DAVIDSON is a recipient of the Golden Voices Award and numerous Earphones Awards. After performing for years in many BBC radio plays, he came to America in 1976. He has narrated more than eight hundred audiobooks.
