About the Author: Drew Carey grew up in Cleveland and started his career as a stand-up comic in his hometown. He was one of the last stand-up comics to make his debut on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and be called over to sit on the couch to chat. Carey won a Cable Ace Award for Drew Carey: Human Cartoon. For six seasons, he starred in his widely popular sitcom The Drew Carey Show on ABC. He was executive producer for Whose Line is it Anyway? and has a series on the WB called Drew Carey's Green Screen.
